Casino Design and UX for iGaming Businesses
Casino and sportsbook design became just as important as any other aspect of the business. A well-executed design radiates trust towards the player, and once they register, their stay depends largely on how easily they can find their way around the interface. Successful operators know well, you need outstanding design to maximise conversion and to differentiate your brand from the rest.

What Can Be Considered Good Casino Design?
Design is not just about how your casino or sportsbook looks; it always goes hand in hand with how easy it is to do certain things on the website. A well-streamlined user interface will guide the players' eyes to key areas of business interest (e.g., Register or Login) with the use of color contrast and a clean layout that does not distract the visitor from what they arrived to do. These are all measurable UX design metrics that greatly impact the number of registrations and the time spent on the website. This is why the most successful brands know well why it is important for a casino or sportsbook to optimise their website for the easiest registration, least amount of clicks to finding and playing games, and simplify everything with a good design that players will interact with. Long gone are the days when design was just about a fancy exterior; it became a key metric to business success. In today's market, when new casinos pop up nearly daily, if you don't have a unique idea of how to differentiate your brand from the rest, you can only rely on how the audience will perceive it by giving it a well-thought-out design that sets it up for success.

The potential of Redesigning a Casino or Sportsbook
Operators have way less risk in redesigning their platform compared to affiliates. If your brand is already successful, you should keep up with online trends to make your platform look the part and earn you as much as possible. There are certain things that your business might be limited by your casino license, but there is likely some room for improvement that a well-executed casino design can help with. Case studies often suggest a potential of 10-50% increase in registrations after a UX rehaul (and in certain cases even above that). iGaming Studio has designed and/or redesigned dozens of casinos, and we can definitely help you streamline the user experience of your platform to squeeze out those extra percentages.

Modern Casino Design
As mentioned in the previous sections, there is definitely revenue potential in giving your casino or sportsbook the design treatment it might need. But design is also about style and arrangement, so how should it look like? A modern casino is not that rare to find, but the right path forward can be a bit less clear at first glance. Our experience has thought us that many things can work well for a casino or sportsbook. You can easily find casinos in every color theme under the sun, and in many topics, but what can be considered a well executed design that keeps up with trends is way less common. Simplicity and minimalism is a good approach for a modern casino, since this still allows for a pleasant visual where its needed, but does not get in the way of understanding the UI and where to do what on the interface. No matter how complex your casino is, there is always a way to show as little distraction for the potential players as possible. To do this, a minor or major rehaul of the interface might be needed. Many casinos "hide" their actual home page behind an onboarding page that has less things that could distract the player from registering, but the truth is, they will end up on that home page sooner or later. Will they be confused where to find what they are looking for? Could happen. So it is always better to create a landing page that is informative, pleasing to the eye and well-organised. A nice illustration can do the trick to set the mood for the brand, for which iGaming Studio is well known in the industry.

Design for White Label Casinos
Many operator's first brands are built on a white label platform, since these offer a cheaper and easier solution to launching a casino or sportsbook. Should this get in the way of your casino looking its best? Not at all.
We have worked together with several brands that launched casinos on white label platforms, and designed their own theme with the help of iGaming Studio. Starting a new brand should not limit your ability to reach for the stars, and get as close to a unique experience as the platform itself allows.
Many platform providers are happy to implement a custom design with well-thought-out spacing and modern visuals, since these will also go in their portfolio to showcase later to potential clients, so it is a win-win situation.
If you plan to launch a white label casino or sportsbook, we can definitely help you make it look as unique as possible.
